I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Okay. Clerk for Tim, could you please call the roll for me? Okay. Trustee Wilken. Here. Trustee McIlwain. Here. Trustee Altensey. Here. Trustee Odendahl is not here. She's here. And Trustee Supervisor Sellers. Here. We have a ball. The first order of minutes is the approval of minutes for the for the July 20th, 2026 meeting. Any motion to second, please? I'll make a motion. Second. Excuse the little bit of a minute, see if you haven't done so already. Are there any questions on the minutes? No, sir. Seeing that there are now, all in favor? Aye. Any opposed? Motion carries. The next item is approval of bills payable. Any motion to second, please? So moved. Second. Motion by O. C. Seconded by McIlwain. Please take a look at the bills payable. Yeah, I just have a question. Yeah, the one for Tanya Williams Price. So, as soon as the property is in her personal name then? Okay, alright. Yep. She is the actual landlord. Alright. Yep. Not often you just see just, you know, persons. Right. To be lucky enough. Versus a LLC or company name. Alright. We're on claims and demands. I'll hold on to the attempts to take a look at them. We're on bills payable. You want to take a look at them? Want to take a look at the bills real quick? Have any questions about the bills? Tell us if we're going over them already. Any questions? We're on it right now. I'm sorry. Oh no, we're on bills payable right now. No questions? Any questions, Trustee? Okay. Clerk for 10, please call the roll. Okay. Trustee Wilken? Aye. Trustee McIlwain? Aye. Trustee Odendahl? Aye. Trustee Altensey? Aye. Supervisor Sellers. Aye. The motion carries. The next order of business is approval, discussion and approval of served provided agreement with the Veterans Assistance Commission for the administering of its medical transportation program. Any motion and second please. Second. All right, floor's open for discussion. I gave an updated budget. I updated it because I also have the expenditure, year-to-date expenditures for what they have, what they spent so far up until. Is that this one? No. Or is it updated from this? No, it's updated from that. It's attached to your. Exhibit A? Yes, it's Exhibit A inside of your packet right there. The nine page one? Yes. So it'll look like this. Okay. Thank you. So they're not quite done with their 2026 budget yet. They're still spending out of it. And I'll let you guys take a look at that and give me your questions. And it's good because it always helps them out. Yes. Especially taking veterans up to the VA. Yes. With Monroe, you can't get past Monroe to go to Monticello to Nicolares. You have to go a different route. I have a question. Yes. When does this contract start? I know we talked about that. This one's going to start, well it's not a contract, but an agreement. It is a contract. Agreement, contract, something. When does this one start? As soon as we sign it. So we approve and we sign. So they're still spending on the other one? Yes, this is for next year. Yes, this is for next year, but 2027. Yes. Okay. Because we're into our next year. Yeah, we're in the 2026. They're in the 2026. And so this is for the 2027 budget. When is our fiscal year? Oh, Mike. Um, it's coming. Usually it's December 1, I would guess. Yep, I'm thinking that's December 1. Because that's where most colonies are. Yep. Couple of questions. I mean, I'm okay with the overall amount. It's interesting that they only increase fuel for Van 1 to $600. I guess I would assume Van 2, they must be They're using their newer van for the longer drives, and their older vans are used for the more shorter drives. All right, and you only got $500 increase for the Madison band, just with the way fuel prices are going up. Right. I was thinking that maybe. Well, and they have a video on rock or two, but it's not, I mean, all we have here is the nurse practice. Yeah, I'm just wondering if they're underestimating the fuel prices. I don't know. Yeah. Yeah, this is what we have. Right. Yeah. So we have to go by what there? I'm trusting that they, that this will help cover what they need. Let's hope so. Just the, yeah, band washing, that seems pricey. Maybe it's just me, but, um. It depends on what your winter is going to be like, too. Yeah, that's the day budget for 2026. I'm definitely okay with the overall amount, and if any of these areas might be inflated, it could be used up somewhere else, but it just seems kind of pricey for a grand. This is a very small chunk but, and the Sears subscription, I was trying to get that lowered. I was just going to say, like all of us, I mean, they budget, but obviously they use money where the needs are, so there are things that they haven't, so they're trying to live within the budget to make it work. And you never know how many trips you're going to have to make to Madison or to Rockford right until the VA or the veterans come in and say this is Come in and say, this is what I have to do. Yeah, I guess. I'm a little nervous with what they have budgeted for fuel. I just don't want to get in a situation where, because we really don't know what's going to happen with the fuel prices and the way things are going. No, we don't. And if things spike even higher, just don't want to get caught where we get into later in June next year and we're coming short. And I know we would be open to providing the additional assistance if needed, but just wonder if it might not be a good idea maybe just to take a look at that number again, just so we can reduce the likelihood of that happening. At least that way if it's budgeted and we've approved it, it's there. But I just think that's a real possibility. Yes. But we budgeted $50,000 for them. That's what Liz and I, we sat down and we talked to the VACSC and that's the number that we came up with. So I'm hoping that they'll be able to. That's just, you know, yeah. So I get it. I know what you mean. And the cost of fuel is anybody's guess. What I can do is flag this and have the VACSC flag fuel especially and we keep monitoring and they can, you know, so we can see where we are because, again, I agree with what you're saying. We don't know the outcome, but based off what we've been seeing, the lack of good of it going up is more than it is going down. All right, yeah, like I said, definitely a favor I would definitely have that discussion with Jacob and say, hey guys, take a look at your fuel consumption, which they do. They do a great job at staying within budget. So I will definitely talk, that's the discussion I will have with him about keeping a close eye on fuel usage for him. Yeah, because gas jumps up to $5 a gallon, they can budget all they want. These trips aren't negotiable, they're optional trips like going on vacation, they got to have trips. So you're just going to be stuck with this higher fuel cost, even with your best budgeting practices. Right, and it's the same thing for vehicle maintenance. You know, everything is going up, and as the price of oil goes up, the price of tires go up, because that's all part of it. It's all connected. So, I see, I get it. Thank you. I have one, one, just a question. Okay, so I'm looking at, on the second page, with Van Zoffel and Hamlets, and it looks like they bought a bunch. Are they planning on buying more in the next, this 2027? Because they budgeted for, if I'm reading this right, they budgeted for $5,000 for the 2027 budget and it looks like actuals for this year was they spent $5,557.04 so it looks like they bought some. Do you know if they're planning on buying more? If I'm not mistaken they did they did tablets okay and I'm thinking they need cell phones they need okay so they just okay so they got the tablets and if I'm not mistaken all the that includes these subscriptions for yeah everything as as well. Okay, thank you. So yeah, yeah. Good question. Thank you for asking. Yeah, very good, Kathy. I don't have any more questions. Okay, trustee, is there any more questions on the self-survival agreements with the DHSC? No? Oh, good. Okay, seems like there are none. Clerk for 10, please call the roll. Trustee Wilken? Aye. Trustee McIlwain? Aye. Trustee Aye. Trustee Altensey? Aye. Supervisor Sellers? Aye. The next order of business is the supervisor's report and I don't think I have anything. I think I don't don't be so surprised. Don't be so surprised. I think we discussed everything about the numbers for the The Food Pantries, we did that at the last meeting. I will have numbers for our assistance through the Community Action for the next meeting. I'll have those numbers available as well as Operation Jumpstart numbers for you guys for the next meeting, okay? Let me write that down and make sure I have those numbers for you guys. But that's all I have. I have nothing from you to report tonight unless you have a question for me. Thanks, man. All right. The next order of business is trustees report, trustees. No report? Okay. I have nothing. Okay. The next order of business is public comments. Any public comments? Always say something. Shane Orlow, I actually just came from a meeting before this and you guys, I know many of you are very humanitarian in your efforts. School's starting up, so there's going to be a lot of back to school needs. We're starting sports next week. Kids are going to need shoes, all kinds of stuff. I know for a fact that the school district is kind of in a budget, I don't want to say crisis, but burden. So they can't necessarily provide all the things that We're hoping to build it back up. But if you guys see a teacher looking for classroom supplies, a kid that needs a coat to get to school, if you can donate some snacks to the school, anything like that, just be aware of that because I know that you guys have a heart for that stuff. So just be ready for that coming down the line in the next couple weeks All right, thank you. Any other public comments? Is there any other business coming forward to town? Seeing that there is no other motion to adjourn until Monday, August 17th, 2026,433. So moved. Smaller than you are. I'm going to second. Second. Okay. All righty. All in favor. Aye. Any opposed. Me's adjourned. Thank you all. Thank you.
