All right. It's six o'clock. I'm going to get started. I can do that. Thank you. Father, Father, we thank you for this beautiful time of year. We thank you for each one of our members that are here this evening and for the staff that's here. We ask that you provide us with the correct words and the correct knowledge that we can make decisions for our county going forward. Thank you for each one of these members, and Jesus' name, Amen. 3.0, Approval of tonight's agenda, do I have a motion to approve? Motion. By Mr. Diddens, do I have a second? Sure. By Mr. Jogerst. Didn't- You need a second, so I'll interrupt you. Larry. Sure. Is there a- Okay. Any discussion? Seeing none, all those in favor say aye. Aye. Opposed? Motion carried. All right. 6.0, Public comment. No public comment. 7.0, Reports to committee. 7.1, Diamond Brothers. Is there a week for them? There's not a report this month from them. I did talk to Carrie and she's hoping to have numbers for renewals probably within six to eight weeks. 7.2? Charming administration. 8. I was going to say just kind of an update. I did attend the Land Bank meeting on Friday. There is a new member and then I just, McKenry, is that who I told you? Yeah, McKenry County joined. I am working with Mr. Larson to have a small claims case brought against our former nursing home administrator who has defaulted on his repayment plan to the county. Have been working with Sickitch and the nursing home and Adrian has been working with them. We believe all of the information is now from the nursing home to Sickitch. They've reviewed a lot of it and I did confirm with Lindsay that she feels within the timeframe of the extension she should be able to have at the resort to us. Thank you for joining. Yeah. The Greater Free Partnership Meeting for June was hosted at Highland. It was Chris Kavursky's last meeting and I introduced the new president at the college. They also took us on a tour to show us kind of their plan of what the remodel, the proposed remodel will look like once the Y and Highland kind of part ways. So, I've seen all the plans for the live, it was kind of interesting to see how that college is planning to use the space. There is no Greeniff Report Partnership meeting this month, and animal control has, I think, mostly moved, not all the animals yet, right, into their new facility. Bush. So they're operating out of it, but not all of the others. Yeah. All right. 7.3, Finance start. Okay. I think you got the entire revenue and expense report, 144 pages. So the summary, we're halfway through the year. So things should be about 50% unless those funds receive tax dollars. Is there a way to start that report so we can see the online this only 144 pages long right right I can I can do individual funds um there's really no sorting mechanism yeah unfortunately the way that if you want something that's just kind of targeted to your committee, I can do that for you. That's where my eyes typically go. Yeah. I was just wondering in general if there was a way to spot something that was maybe an attention center. Right. Not that I'm aware of. Okay. They'll see us be a hedge board or anything. We could do that but the problem with CIC with our financial software is it doesn't convert really well so you can't sort and so it would basically be the same thing and you'd have to sort line by line anyway. Okay, thank you. Just to piggyback on what Georgia said, the nursing center has been really responsive. I think we finally got in contact with the right person so we hope things and things will be wrapped up as far as the audit goes so the auditors can finalize the financial statements and begin their review process. As far as the budget, department heads are able to access the budget on Teams on June 24th. And some departments have already started to enter entering their budget requests, so that's great. So during this month, they have the option to meet with me if there was anything that's concerning them or they're, you know, big budget changes coming for 2027. I think the only meeting that I have on the books right now is the EMA. So like I said, that's optional for the department heads. And also please keep in mind that they should be reaching out to you to have meetings prior to the August committee meetings when they will be bringing their budgets in front of the committee for the first time. So that's on the budget calendar that they should be reaching out and meeting with you so you're aware of any changes that's coming up. So, and that's really all I have. Any questions for AJ? All right, 7.4, Professor's report. Thank you Madam Chairwoman. Is that right? So, I'm hoping everybody has had a chance to review the June financial report. I sent that link out on July 5th, specific to the cover page, which has sales and income tax. You see that total number was down as a monthly report cover indicates, but it was mostly due to a drop in a particular income tax payment. So month over month, it looks like there was a dramatic change. There really wasn't because May's was really high, June's was a little low. So if you're averaging out, it's fine. So sales and income taxes received though through June are at 4.7 million to last year, so nothing to be concerned about. As of the end of June, total county funds were down just 71 one hundredths of a percent, which is 173,000 in change compared to the end of May. It's a almost negligible increase, it's so minimal, just like the preceding several months, certainly well below what we would expect when there are no property tax distributions. On the yellow page, the page with all the yellow, with all the investments, we had eight that matured in June, a little over 37,000 in paid interest earnings. At the end of the month, they had 15 investments in place, across nine funds maturing as far out as April 27th. I am placing additional investments this week. I want to take a little more time to review some anticipated cashflow needs now that property taxes hit the accounts today. So I didn't have a chance to dig as far into that today as I could, as I wanted to before I came to you. Um, so no news, good news, I guess. If there are any questions about the reports specifically, I'd be happy to answer them. Otherwise I'm going to get into the property staff side. Great. Okay. So I'm sorry again for the repetition, Mr. Jogerst, Mr. Fricke. Um, so we were incredibly busy, obviously, as we closed out, um, that first installment due date, as you can imagine. And keep getting great feedback on our tax bill redesign. So I'm thinking that's going to be here to stay. One of the things I did talk about in admin, we're seeing something this year, an increase I'm a little surprised by of NSF checks and rejected EFT payments. When I mentioned it on Wednesday, we were at 135,000, which doesn't seem like a lot. And now today it's 142,000. So we've had some more. It's not something we normally see this much of this early. It's more of a end of the tax season sort of, what you kind of expect, sort of a desperation situation, but we're getting made whole. It's just, that's a lot of work to undo. We have to avoid payments, send letters, collect extra fees, redo the payments. So just not something we were expecting to do a lot of. So I'm keeping an eye on it because it is an anomaly. So the big news today was first Army Tax Distribution Day. So of the $94.19 million that the clerk extended, distributed $53.7 million of that today. So 57% is in the hands of the taxi districts, including us. So the county received about $6.09 million across all 13 funds. Do recall though, that three of those funds are not really county dollars. Mental health, extension education, graduate assistance. So those two, those three total over $600,000 by themselves. So that $6.09 is not really all of our money. But still, very happy to have that. Of that total general fund, it's $3.685 million. Next largest was liability, with almost $500,000 mill race. Hayes, it's its own tax district, $230,000. A lot of just distribution, as always, Freeport School District, $16.42 million today. And the smallest, McConnell Street Lighting got 1,700 bucks. So that's top to bottom. So as far as I know, everything went smoothly. And again, once I have a chance to review some cash flow because of that influx of cash into several of our funds, I would be investing. Some more money, squeeze out as much interest as I can. It's good. Well, any questions about any of that? Any questions? Thank you very much. Thank you. Except one goofy question, as we talk about memories crossing, do you still get all the questions about why is this on my tax bill? When is this going to happen? That's great. But you said it. Because, you know, we, I think that, you know, maybe two questions a year, three at the most. And I think people have been doing, you know, a fairly decent job of explaining that. So, you know, it's, it's not like it's more and more people every year who are affected. It's the same property owners. So I think it's, you know, as those questions come up, they're addressed and then they're satisfied or, you know, they talk to the neighbor. So it's so far. We've had all the questions now are about our sealed bid auction, which we received catalogs for today. That's the properties that the county is trusting for, which is where it needs for the property nobody else wants. So we're trying to dispose of it through a sealed bid auction. And that deadline is August 21st. And how do you get that cataloged again? You can come down to my office for $8. I will trade it with you, or you can go online to IL Tax, which is what we've been suggesting actually, iltaxsale. Com, that's our trustee agent who is also the agent for 90 plus other counties. You can see all the counties lists that are available yet. We've been suggesting that people do it electronically, because if you submit your bid online, that way you don't have to front the money for your bid, only if you're the successful bidder then do you have to pay, but if you come and do it full school, bring us an actual sealed bid envelope, you have to have your bid funds with that bid. So your funds are tied up for a little while, depending whether or not you're successful. But iletextsale. Com, not just us, but everybody. Good. Okay, do you need any more questions? Thank you. 8.0 Old business, the old business, 9.0 new business, 9.0 new business, 10.0 adjournment. Adam, Bush and Childer, Bush. Do I have a second? Mr. Didds, any discussion? All those in favor say aye. Opposed? Motion carries. I remember this in August, September, April, October.
