There's not a report this month from them. I did talk to Carrie, and she's hoping to have numbers for renewals, probably within six to eight weeks. 7.2, 10 new ministries. 8. I was going to say, just kind of an update. I did attend the land bank meeting on Friday. Okay. There is a new member, and then I just, McKenry, is that what I told you? Yeah, McKenry County joined. I am working with Mr. Larson to have a small claims case brought against our former nursing home administrator who has defaulted on his repayment plan to the county. have been working with SickAge and the nursing home and Adrian has been working with them. We believe all of the information is now from the nursing home to SickAge. They've reviewed a lot of it and I did confirm with Lindsay that she feels within the time frame of the extension she should be able to have at the report to us. Thank you for joining. Yeah. The Grand Prix Partnership Meeting for June was hosted at Highland. It was Chris Kversky's last meeting and I introduced the new president at the college. They also took us on a tour to show us kind of their plan of what the remodel, the proposed remodel will look like once the Y and Highland kind of part ways. So I'd seen, you know, all the plans for the Y, but it was kind of interesting to see how the college is planning to use the space There is no greater free port partnership meeting this month And animal control is, I think, mostly moved, not all the animals yet, right, into their new facility So, they're operating out of it, but not all the else, yeah. Any questions for this newcomer? All right, 7.3, finance start. Okay, I think you got the entire revenue and expense report, 144 pages. So, the summary, we're halfway through the year, so things should be about 50% unless those funds receive tax dollars. those revenues will still look low. Does anybody have any questions on anything that they've received? Is there a way to start that report so we can see the lines? It's only 144 pages long. Right, right. I can do individual funds. There's really no sorting mechanism. You're welcome. Yeah, unfortunately. If you want something that's just kind of targeted to your committee, I can do that for you. That's where my eyes typically go. Yeah. I was just wondering, in general, if there was a way to spot something that was maybe an attention center. Right, right. Not that I'm aware of. Okay. They'll see us be exported or anything. Well, we could do that, but the problem with CIC, with our financial software, is it doesn't convert really well, so you can't sort, and so it would basically be the same thing, and you'd have to sort through it, line by line anyway Okay, thank you Yeah Just to piggyback on what Georgia said, the nursing center has been really responsive, I think we finally got in contact with the right person, so we hope things will be wrapped up as far as the audit goes so the auditors can finalize the financial statements and begin their review process. As far as the budget, department heads were able to access the budget on Teams on June 24th, and some departments have already started entering their budget requests, so that's great. So during this month, they have the option to meet with me if there's anything that's concerning them or their big budget change is coming for 2027. I think the only meeting that I have on the books right now is the EMA. So like I said, that's optional for department heads. And also please keep in mind that they should be reaching out to you to have meetings prior to the August committee meetings when they will be bringing their budgets in front of the committee for the first time. So that's on the budget calendar that they should be meeting with you so you're aware of any changes that's coming up. So and that's really all I have. Any questions for Adrienne? All right. 7.4, President's Report. Thank you, Madam Chairwoman. Is that right? So I'm hoping everybody has had a chance to review the June financial report. I sent that link out on July 5th. Specific to the cover page, which has sales of income tax, you see that total number was down as a monthly report cover indicates, but it was mostly due to a drop in a particular income tax payment. So month over month, it looks like there was a dramatic change. There really wasn't because May's was really high. June's was a little low. So if you're averaging out, it's fine. So sales and income taxes received those through June are at 4.7 million of last year. So nothing to be concerned about. As of the end of June, total county funds were down just 71 one hundredths of a percent, which is 173,000 and change compared to the end of May. It's an almost negligible increase. It's so minimal. Just like the preceding several months, certainly well below what we would expect when there are no property tax distributions. On the yellow page, the page with all the yellow with all the investments, we had eight that matured in June, a little over $37,000 in paid interest earnings. At the end of the month, they had 15 investments in place, across nine funds, maturing as far out as April 27. I am placing additional investments this week. I want to take a little more time to review some anticipated cash flow needs now that property taxes hit the accounts today. So I didn't have a chance to dig as far into that today as I could, as I wanted to before I came to you. talked to you before I came to you. So no news, good news, I guess. If there are any questions about the report specifically, I'd be happy to answer them. Otherwise, I'm going to get into the property gap side. Great. Okay. So sorry again for the repetition, Mr. Jogerst, Mr. Brick. So we were incredibly busy, obviously, as we closed out that first installment due date, as you can imagine. We keep getting great feedback on our tax bill redesign, so I'm thinking that's going to be here to stay. One of the things I did talk about in admin, we're seeing something this year, an increase I'm a little surprised by of NSF checks and rejected EFT payments. When I mentioned it on Wednesday, we were at $135,000, which doesn't seem like a lot, and and now today it's $142,000. So we've had some more. It's not something we normally see this much of this early. It's more of a end of the tax season sort of what you kind of expect sort of a desperation situation. But we're getting made whole. It's just it's that's a lot of work to undo. We have to avoid payments, send letters, collect extra fees, redo the payments. So just not something we were expecting to do a lot. So I'm keeping an eye on it because it is an anomaly. So the big news is today was first property tax distribution date. So of the $94.19 million that the clerk extended, distributed $53.7 million of that today. So 57% is in the hands of the taxi districts, including us. So the county received about $6.09 million across all 13 funds. I do recall, though, that three of those funds are not really county dollars. Mental health, extension education, veterans assistance. So those three total over $600,000 by themselves. So that $6.09 is not really all of our money. But still, very happy to have that. Of that total, the general fund got $3.685 million. next largest was liability with almost 500,000 mill race since all tax districts 230,000 largest distribution as always three part school districts 16.42 million today. And smallest McConnell Street lighting got 1700 bucks. So that's top to bottom. So as far as I know, everything went smoothly. And again, once I have a chance to review some cash flow, So, because of the influx of cash into several large lines, I would be investing some more money first. We use out as much interest as I can. That's good. Yeah. Any questions about any of that? Any questions? Thank you very much. Thank you. I've set one goofy question. And as we talk about mill rates crossing, do you still get all the questions about why is this on my tax bill? When is it going to come out? That's great. You said it. Because, you know, I think, you know, maybe two questions a year, three at the most. And I think people have been doing, you know, a fairly decent job of explaining that. So, you know, it's not like it's more and more people every year who are affected. that's the same property owners. So I think as, you know, as those questions come up, they're addressed, and then they're satisfied, you know, they talk to the neighbor. So it's so far good. Good. Well, we've had all the questions now are about our sealed bid auction, which we received catalogs for today. That's the properties that the county is trustees for, which is where it needs for the property nobody else wants, so we're trying to dispose of it through a sealed bid auction, and that deadline is August 21st. And how do you get that catalogued again? You can come down to my office for $8. I will trade it with you, or you can go online to ILTax, which is what we've been suggesting, actually, ILTaxSale.com. That's our trustee agent, who is also the agent for 90-plus other counties. you can see all the counties lists that are available yet. We've been suggesting that people do it electronically because if you submit your bid online that way you don't have to front the money for your bid only if you're the successful bidder then do you have to pay but if you come and do it old school bring us an actual sealed bid envelope you have to have your bid funds with that bid so your funds are tied up for a little while depending whether or not you're successful. So but Isletechsale.com Not just us, but everybody Good Okay, any additional questions? Thank you 8.0, old business, no old business, 9.0, new business, 10.0, adjournment I don't listen to adjourn So Mr. Bush, do I have a second? Any discussion? All those are going to say aye Opposed?
