Well, that's the holiday, correct? Oh, that's right, you're the holiday. And he is off on Friday for the next week. Okay. Next up would be Public Defender. and I see it doesn't help but I have my own agenda on the computer, excuse me, one minute. He'll send a report in, take a note of that, tune on there, move on to probation, Dr. McGee is not here, she also sent in a report. and State Attorney. Good evening, everyone. You have our report. I'd be happy to answer any questions about that, but we moved some freight in January. Just pointing out the felony offenses, 26 new open, 62 closed. so that's a lot of the November-December backlog getting cleared off there. Our previous victim and witness coordinator has achieved her 7-Eleven temporary law license and she's begun practicing as a 7-Eleven licensed law clerk in misdemeanor court. So we're all very proud of the work that she's done and glad that she's in a position to help out. We hired a new victim and witness coordinator to replace her. That's a woman named Allison O'Rourke. She's in the process of getting her master's degree in social work. She got her bachelor's degree at Champaign-Urbana and moved to the area with her husband. and she's come into a trial by fire. Her first two weeks here, we've had a trial, a serious trial, two weeks in a row, but she seems to be doing well. She hasn't batted an eye at staying late and is getting along well with everyone. With that, I'd be happy to answer any questions anybody may have. I do have one question. Sure. On your report, the juvenile abuse and neglect. Is that? I mean, that's actually child abuse is what you're? Yeah. Okay. Like juvenile crime is like juvenile delinquency. That's the one right about it. abuse and neglect is ECFS cases where children are either removed from the home while the parents go through remedial measures or the children remain in the home and the parents will work with ECFS to rectify these. Well, that's what it all is. Okay. It's only open since it's a lot. What's the lot this? Sometimes there's multiple kids in one family. Usually it's not just one child that's removed. If you've got a household with five kids and there may be only abuse or neglect of one, but all five go, you know, because if it's not safe for one, it's not safe for any of them. Yeah. Okay. Thank you. And you're welcome to Sir. Good for it. Good evening. You also should have my report. We're still working on our e-citations. It got up to a little rough start, but we're working out those kinks. The Sheriff's Office has been writing tickets. Freeport has paused for a moment, so we move back on. So I said there's not a whole lot. You have any questions? I see it's tax season again, so I see we got $103.88 in, so when do we see a lot of that come in, generally? It'll still be a little bit, because they'll get a notice, and I think they have 30 or 45 days to object to it, and then if they don't object, then there is a little waiting. Okay, thank you. Okay. Well, thank you, Chanel. Appreciate it. I'll move on to 7.6, Youth Diversion Feet. The last deposit was $648.55, giving us a grand total of $9,941.30. So that is moving along night's sleep. Old Business 8.1, Review and Approval of Youth Diversion Funding Application. and Georgia did make the small change that we asked for, she puts the 501c3 status on there and looks, you know, we've got that it has to be under 18, you know, children or juveniles that are not in the court, you know, in court situation right now and under 18. so I think that satisfies the questions that I have, the concerns I have, anybody else have any problems, are you happy with the format now, yes, I have a motion to approve, all right, can I get a second, second, any further discussion, seeing none, all those in favor say aye, Those opposed, same sign. So that motion passes. And Scott, that does not have to go to the board, correct? It does not. Okay, thank you. Trust release, that's all. Is that a separate? There's a separate trust release. Okay. All right. Oh, this one. Okay. So it's just a different form. Do you mail this? Generally, we send it to the media email group that we have. There's a media list. Can you provide us the media list? Did we make a change to that? Just the dates. Oh. I'm just going to say I'm pulling it up for you. and I think we'll see that as an issue. TREVOR GARCIA, You need to approve that, then? TREVOR GARCIA, Yes, I'll get it. TREVOR GARCIA, Motion to approve. TREVOR GARCIA, Can I get a second? TREVOR GARCIA, Yes, I'll give it a second. TREVOR GARCIA, Okay. TREVOR GARCIA, All right. TREVOR GARCIA, All right. Just kind of explains where the funding goes from and making the announcement so that our local nonprofits can start applying. Okay. And we'll hold the funding and the grant comes $5 million. Yes. All right. All those in favor, say aye. Aye. Opposed, same sign. Hearing none. That motion passes. I was just going to say, if I could add, I will have Nate update the website before I send out the release so that the new application is up before we have it sent. Let's move on to new visits. I see none. Next would be adjournment. Can I get a motion? I'll move. Motion by Mr. Busker. Second. Second by Mr. Hadley. All those in favor? Aye Aye Opposed, same sign, thank you very much Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you
